When I got news from Steve Conte that the band were going to record a live album whilst touring, I must admit to being a little more than excited about it, having missed out on the band's earlier visit to the UK.

The live shows were receiving rave reviews from the music press, and i'd damned well missed out, which is extremely rare for us here at SoundCheck, so we were determined to make amends when the album was released, as well as the outstanding news that the guys landed the main support slot for the annual Motorhead tour in November...wow!

The set list for the release covers Michael's extensive back catalogue and adds-in some cleverly selected, inspirational songs as well as a taster of the forthcoming studio album, which all combines to a nice, healthy dose of rock n roll. in fact, 'Motorheaded For A Fall' co-written with Lemmy is one song I can't wait to hear on the new album.

Songs by the Dead Boys, Damned, Heartbreakers and Stooges work well for me anyway, and they're all played exactly as they should be by his superb backing band of Messrs. Conte, Yaffa, Ginger and ROSQVIST...these guys Rock Like Fuck!

They are on tour, as I mentioned earlier, late November....don't Miss it!
